Get to Know Hailee Souther, Falkner Winery

Meet Hailee!

I’m 24 years old, and I’ve lived in Temecula my whole life! I started in the food and wine industry at 18. My first “taste” of wine country was when I worked at Spuntino’s. While working there, we would get so many people from the wine industry, and I remember thinking to myself, “What’s industry?” 😂

As I started building relationships with them, I saw how they weren’t just coworkers—they were family! I told myself I was going to work in wine country one day, and I made it happen.

My favorite thing about working at Falkner now is definitely meeting people from all over and creating relationships, especially with our wine club members. Most of the time, it doesn’t even feel like work because of the guests who visit us!

I’m so thankful to my manager, Raymond, and my coworkers for teaching me everything I know about wine. I started out knowing nothing, and now I can confidently explain our wines and guide our guests to something I know they’ll love. They also push me to be the best version of myself!

My go-to sip at Falkner is 100% our 2025 Viognier—it is delicious! Overall, I can say I’ve found my work family, and I can’t wait to see what Temecula Valley wine country has in store!
